- I'm a broadcast journalist, Bridget is a vet. We are both taking a career break and cycling half way around the world. Here's our account of that trip from England to Singapore. We set off on April 11th (Easter Saturday) when we caught a ferry to Bilbao. This account takes in our preparations as well as the trip itself.
